Dianne Simboro is a Recovery Coach, Behavioural Profiler and Hypnotherapist. After more than two decades of lived experience of family violence and then ten years of professional experience, she established Family Violence Mindset Solutions to teach women how to release the layers of trauma and conditioning in the survivor’s mindset.
Before her abusive marriage Dianne travelled around Australia and through many countries overseas on a working holiday which lasted over ten years. There were a number of traumatic and life-threatening experiences, after which she says she had to pioneer her own path of recovery because there was no-one who could provide her with the necessary support at that time. “Through my own experience I found out what worked for me and now I share that with others.”
The Mental Health Foundation Australia acknowledges the traditional owners of country throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to them and their cultures and to their elders both past and present.
